Andres Castillo Chairman
A credit union member since 1985, Castillo has a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing and is currently a counselor at the Applied Technology Center in Montebello.
Fran Mondaca Vice Chairman
A member of the credit union for more than 48 years, Mondaca retired from the Montebello Unified School District after 40 years of service as a teacher, librarian, and project coordinator. Before joining the Board, Mondaca also volunteered on the Credit and Supervisory Committees.
Lavonne Sherman Secretary/Treasurer
Sherman has been a member of the credit union for over 45 years. Ms. Sherman was an educator in Montebello for over 30 years. She joined the Supervisory Committee in 1980, before becoming a member of the Board in 1983.
Maria Elena Alvarez Director
Previously serving 4 years on the Supervisory Committee, Alvarez brings 27 years of experience to the Board as a retired Coordinator of Community Affairs for the Montebello Unified School District.
Noreene Arase Director
A Camino Federal Credit Union member for 43 years who has also served as a member of the Supervisory Committee since 2013, Ms. Arase joined the Board in 2014 after 40 years of dedicated service as a (now retired) teacher, site and district administrator with the Montebello Unified School District.
Dorothy Denning Director
A member of the credit union for over 35 years, Denning has served on the Board of Directors for more than 21 years, working on the Credit Committee and 2 years as Board Chairman. Denning was an accountant supervisor at the Montebello Unified School District office for over 17 years.
Eugene Malinzak Director
An Army veteran and retired school administrator after 38 years, Malinzak served on the Supervisory Committee before joining the Board.
Don McOwen Director
A retired administrator from Montebello Unified School District, McOwen has served as a credit union Board member for more than 35 years and has served several times as Board Chairman.
Sterling Schubert Director
Schubert is the principal at the Applied Technology Center High School and has been a member of the credit union since 1986. He previously served on the Supervisory Committee for 5 years and was its Chairman for 2 years.
