When is the money withdrawn from my account after I pay a bill?
If the payment is paid by ACH it will be taken from your account on the date you chose the payment to be made. Example – I want my mortgage paid on Wednesday the 1st. The payment and credit will take place on the 1st. If the payment is paid by check the payment will be debited when the check is processed by the payee. Example – I want my lawn care service paid on Wednesday the 1st. The check is guaranteed to arrive on the 1st. The payee is then responsible for cashing the check.
