What is Online Banking?
Online Banking provides a secure environment for members to conduct financial transactions online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through the Internet. You can:
- View your account balances
- View 7 days of your recent account history
- View three years of history for personal record-keeping
- View copies of cleared checks
- Transfer funds between accounts in real-time
- Make payments by transfer to loans and credit cards
- And much more
Which accounts can I access through Online Banking?
You can access all of the Camino Federal Credit Union sub-accounts related to the main share account you are loging into.
What is my user name?
Your User Name is the ID that you used in the previous Home Banking system (i.e.: your account number). If you are a new user please choose the New User link from the home or login page. You can also call 800-835-3400 or click here to

What do I need in order to begin using Online Banking?
To access your account, you will need the following:
- Any type of computer that can access the Internet
- An Internet Service Provider
- Recommended web browsers: Microsoft® Internet Explorer v5.0 or higher, Netscape® Communicator v6.0 or higher, America Online® v6.0 or higher.
What personal information do I need in order to begin using Online Banking?
Your Camino Federal Credit Union account number and the following qualifying personal information:
- Social security number of the primary account holder (only used for initial set up)
- Date of birth for the primary account holder
- Zip code on the account.
How much does Online Banking cost?
Online Banking is free of monthly service charges. In addition, Bill Pay is also available without a monthly service charge.
What does it mean to register my computer?
By registering a computer you are telling the security system that this is your own personal computer. Registering a computer allows you to bypass the challenge questions. The system will go directly to the picture and caption and request your password as normal. This is not recommended for any computer that is public or has multiple users. Can I "unregister" my computer?
Yes. Deleting cookies on your Internet browser settings and re-opening a new Internet browser to sign back in will "unregister" that specific PC.
Please note: A routine maintenance procedure typically involves deleting your cookies. Simply be aware that following any routine computer maintenance, when you attempt to login to Online Banking you may be prompted to register that computer again.
Do I need any special software?
No. You just need the software that you would usually use to access the Internet, including a web browser. Online Banking works with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. Members with PCs and Macs will be able to access the system easily. There are no special disks or software required, however, you must use a computer that meets minimum hardware and software requirements.
Can I use Online Banking from my iPhone or iPad?
Limited functionality is currently available for iPhone, Smartphone, iPad or tablet usage, and enhancements are forthcoming.
Can I use Online Banking from any location?
Yes. As long as you have access to the Internet, you may use Online Banking from any location in the world, 24 hours a day.
How secure is Online Banking?
Very secure. Camino Federal Credit Union uses state-of-the-art network security to ensure the protection of your account information. Refer to our

If I make a transfer, how soon are my funds transferred?
Online Banking operates in real-time, so transactions are reflected on your account immediately. Recurring transfers are processed at 8:30 am on the day they are scheduled.
How do I transfer funds to my other accounts or to another Member's account at Camino Federal Credit Union?
Within the Make a Transfer page, you may also transfer funds to other accounts by clicking another account. This is great to use for a one-time transfer to another Member's account or loan (one-time only – not recurring). You must always enter the account number, the suffix of the account or loan you are transferring to and the first three letters of the other member's last name to set up the transfer each time.
I have recurring transfers currently set-up in the current Home Banking. Will these transfer to the new Online Banking?
All recurring transfers will appear in the new Online Banking when we convert. You will not have to set them up again, but we encourage every member to check their set up for both Online Banking and Bill Pay after the conversion to validate everything updated properly.
What is a recurring transfer and how do I set this up?
Recurring transfers are automatic transfers of the same amount from one account to another. When both accounts are held at Camino Federal Credit Union (example: from your checking account to your auto loan or home loan). You do not have to re-enter a new transfer each month.
These transfers can be scheduled for a variety of frequencies, including: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.
To set up a recurring transfer, click on the "Make a Transfer" button in the top toolbar of Online Banking, then click on Recurring and complete the fields to set up your recurring transfer.
How do I add nicknames to my accounts?
The nicknames feature is available in the new system and you can click on Preferences/Account Nicknames to rename your accounts.

Can the joint owner on my account use Online Banking?
Yes, joint owners can access the account in the same way that you do. User IDs are assigned to the primary account holder of the main share account, so passwords may be shared with all account holders.

What do I do if I forgot my password?
Click on the Forgot Password link on the home page or call us at 800-835-3400 during normal business hours and we will re-set your password for you.
How long before Online Banking times out?

What if my account information is not correct or does not appear on Online Banking?
Try re-enrolling in Online Banking if this does not correct the situation, contact the Member Service Center at 800-834-3500 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can email us 24 hours a day at

What do I do if the type does not appear in the bars correctly?
Try refreshing your screen, if that does not correct the problem you may have to upgrade your Internet browser to the most current version.
What are the business hours for Online Banking?
Online Banking is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. If you need to talk with a Camino Federal Credit Union Member Advocate regarding Online Banking, someone will be available to help you Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can email us 24 hours a day at

Can I use Online Banking directly from Quicken?
Yes. If you use Quicken 2005 or newer you can download your account history directly from within your personal finance software. Microsoft Money is no longer supported.
Can I export my account information into Quicken?
Yes, you can export your account information from Online Banking into Quicken. Microsoft has discontinued Money, so this is not available.
Are there limits on the number of transfers I can make?
There are no limits on transfers from Camino Federal Credit Union Checking accounts or lines of credit. However, Federal Regulations limit the number of electronic transfers from all share/savings and money market accounts to a maximum of six per account per month. The maximum of six includes transfers made via electronic methods, such as Online Banking, Bill Pay and through our Phone Center.
Are there limits to the number of times a day I can log in to Online Banking?
There are no limits on how often you can use Online Banking. Visit Online Banking as often as you like.
