Do you live in Cerritos? If you do, we want to see how many of these local places you have visited.
1. Heritage Park
If you have been looking for a relaxing place to go on the weekend, this is the place to be. You can lounge around, watch the ducks and let your children explore.
If you didn’t already know, this park is located on an island. It’s not only a fun place for your children to play, but it also allows them to learn more about the American Revolution. The play areas are intertwined throughout the building overlooking the water. There is a tunnel slide from the top of the church, there are roof walkways and children can also climb through the attic.
2. Los Cerritos Center
If you have ever needed to go shopping, you have probably stopped by the Los Cerritos Center at some point. This shopping mall has been around since 1971 and is one of the city’s largest revenue sources. If you haven’t already been, you should visit for great dining and shopping experiences.
3. Cerritos Farmers Market
Where do you buy your produce? The Cerritos Farmers Market has a variety of local, organic, farm-fresh food. Even though it may be priced a little bit higher than an average grocery store, it is worth the price difference for the quality. If you want to check it out, you can on Saturdays from 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM at Park Plaza Dr, Cerritos, CA 90703.
4. Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts
Want great entertainment other than watching TV? Then you probably want to visit the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. This center offers performances in music, dance, and theater and accommodates meetings, banquets, and special events. Based on the event, this center has flexible seating arrangements that vary based on the performance.
5. Cerritos Towne Center
In addition to the Los Cerritos Center, the Cerritos Towne Center is the perfect place for all of your shopping needs. What makes the Cerritos Towne Center different is the fact it has more than just retail stores and restaurants. It also has grocery stores, services, and other stores that can assist you with your personal needs.
