Holiday Events Near Los Angeles

And if you’re anything like us, you love any excuse to get the people you care about together for a good time.

Here are some fun holiday events near Los Angeles that you can enjoy with friends and family:

 

Winter Wonderland & Santa House at The Grove

Open 365 days a year, The Grove is transforming into a Winter Wonderland. November 13 through Christmas Day, there will be live music and entertainment and a chance to play in the snow with snowfall nightly at 7 and 8pm. A beautiful 100-foot Christmas tree will be displayed and Santa is available for family photos at the Santa House.

 

Snow In The Park

The City of Montebello is bringing snow to you!

Celebrate the holidays at Montebello City Park December 8th with train rides, Santa games, face painting, live music and much more! It’s bound to be fun for the entire family. Check out details and updates here.

 

Reindeer Romp

The Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Garden is bringing back their annual Reindeer Romp. Your kids will light up with excitement at the Reindeer Village with daily visits from real reindeer (10am-4pm). There’s an opportunity for professional photos with Santa, antler crafts and reindeer keeper talks. All of the activities at the Reindeer Romp is included in the admission (except Santa photos), and will be open Nov 16-January 6 (closed Christmas Day). Start planning your visit today!

 

Outdoor Ice Skating

Get ready to bundle up LA. There are plenty of opportunities for you to ice skate this holiday season. And many ice skating rinks in the area have special opening day events. One popular event is the opening of Los Angeles Kings Holiday Ice Pikes Outlet on November 16. The opening night celebration will feature Santa and special tree lighting. A team LA merchandise truck will be onsite, and there will be special appearances from the LA Kings Ice Crew. There’s also the Pershing Square Holiday Ice Skating Rink that will open November 15. Opening night features a performance by the Wicked cast members with skaters choreographed to the soundtrack and a skate performance. You can find other places to ice skate here.
