How We Protect Your Account from Fraud

Because of this, it’s important to be proactive to pick up on any activity that might indicate fraud is taking place on your account.  That’s why we use Falcon Fraud Manager, the leading credit card security program in the country.  Falcon Fraud Manager monitors your account and detects suspicious activity.

When potential fraud is detected, a fraud specialist will immediately contact you to verify the transaction.  If they confirm with you that it is a valid charge, they will allow it to go through.  If it isn’t, they may block the transaction and the card, depending on the activity.  If someone is unable to get in touch with you, they might also block any future activity until the transaction can be confirmed.

Because our goal is to protect your account, there may be times when your card is blocked, but it was for a valid transaction, just one that was an abnormal purchase.  We ask you to be patient with us when this happens and we promise to clear your card as soon as possible so you can continue using your card.  If your card is blocked, you can call us or any of the numbers on the card or on the ‘lost or stolen card’ page.

In order to prevent this, it’s important to let us know when you are traveling and where you will be going.  There is nothing more frustrating than being on vacation (a time when you need to use your card most often), only to find that your card is blocked because of a fraud alert.
